I am a fairly new mom. I just adopted three girls: 17, 12, and 11 (all sisters). I have never been married nor have any additional children so this is all new to me. I have been struggling to figure out a reasonable chore list and allowance for them. Money is tight and making the adjustment to the needs of 3 additional people in the household has been challenging. Any words of wisdom are welcome.

Pepto contains Salicylates, which can lead to the development of Reyes Syndrome. We have all heard about the danger of aspirin and kids, but this was the first time I had ever heard about Pepto.

Are you kiding me this will just teach your daughter to hate you and never ever want to speak to you and her father agian. Yes i will say she will never do things like that ever agian but desipline should not be something she should fear it should be more like a learning experience. If i was your daughter i would run away any chance I got and trust me i am young enough to be your daughter because i am only 13

I love the mp4s you can download to your iphone or you video mp3 player for sesame street. I loved the electic company. Does anyone remember Mr Rogers Neighborhood? Those were the 3 staple shows for me as a preKer – some 37 years ago.

I am not vaccinating myself and my husband isn’t getting vaccinated either. My baby is too young for the flu shots, so of course she is not getting vaccinated. The H1N1 shot is too new, and they barely tested it before they started using it…we are being used as guinea pigs, IMHO. I refuse to get either shot because of doctors admitting themselves that the shots could actually make you sick. I’d rather take my normal precautions…good hygiene, an environment as germless as possible, and staying away from those we know are sick. If we get it, we get it. But we can protect ourselves without putting extra stuff into our bodies.
