Just a couple nights ago, I got my first taste of marzipan-frosted cake. Visually, it was simply amazing! Made in the shape of a military airplane, from a photo. It was just perfect!

Eating-wise? It was ok; but I could only eat so much (not much) of the “frosting”. It didn’t taste bad, I think it was the texture that I mostly didn’t care for.

Oh, and I LOVE watching Ace of Cakes about Charm City Cakes in Baltimore on the food network. They make some of the craziest cakes.

Marzipan? Shouldn’t that be fondant? Marzipan seems a little weird for icing.
