40th Anniversary of Sesame Street

Filed under: Uncategorized — Chris @ 2:22 pm

Wow, I am old.  I can remember watching this show as a child, when it first came on the air!  I remember vastly prefering The Electric Company– anyone remember that show?– to Sesame Street.

Over the past few months my 4yr old son has been watching Sesame Street videos on my iPhone.  It has been a great way to distract him when we are out doing some boring errands or something.  The original shows hold a special place in my heart.

  2. I love the mp4s you can download to your iphone or you video mp3 player for sesame street. I loved the electic company. Does anyone remember Mr Rogers Neighborhood? Those were the 3 staple shows for me as a preKer – some 37 years ago.

  3. Have any of you watched the “new” Electric company that is now on. I like some of the changes but not all.. It is also hard to believe the The Electric company was Morgan Freeman’s start in the movie industry to see where he is now. Man that brings back memories.
