Since this is the only time other than birthdays they get toys, it is very important to them. However, so they understand how blessed they are this season, they also do "tree angels", a program at our church for children in need. We have noticed over the years that the tags that normally read MP3, or rc car, now reads sweater or boots. Out of all the traditions we have in our house - more than ever - this one is most important. Our family has carried most of the family traditions – including receiving toys from Santa.
